Sail & Work Experience: Cassian was born in South Africa, he is a passionate adventurer - dividing his time into motorbiking around the world, free diving with world champions, and trekking the rain forest. He has worked on different yachts and programs to build a well-rounded experience of command, engineering and navigating the world. Cassian took on the job on YCH2 with the aim to bring the yacht to her best potential, bringing a new team on board who are highly motivated, determined and proud. Job Description Cassian is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages teamwork, individual growth and personal attention by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks. Thiago has gained a lot of experience on yachts during his time living in Palma. He has worked in many different areas, always showing great skills and team work on deck, in the engine room and helping out with the interior when needed. Job Description: Thiago has the expertise required to stand in for the captain in his absence, acting in an important role for first mate duties. He assists the captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guests’ activities. He has extensive knowledge of the maintenance of sailing yachts and is responsible for the running of deck equipment and machinery. Languages spoken: Portuguese, English, and Spanish

She has 9 years of experience in hospitality in Sweden, Denmark and Spain in high-end service. Always eager to learn and develop her skills, Zandra is down to earth and professional. She is the perfect personality to complete the YCH2 team. Job Description: Zandra is responsible for organization, management, and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met. She offers a particular attention to details and a polite and entertaining spirit. Languages spoken: Portuguese, English, and Spanish

Sail & Work Experience: Sarah is a resourceful, creative and adaptable team member. Originally from Ireland and Thailand, she finds inspiration in all cultures to compose her menus. She studied French cooking during her time in South of France and she loves to mix all culinary cultures wherever the boat stops, always shopping for the local produce and freshest food, taking inspiration in the culture they visit. She is highly organized, methodical and a loyal employee with a positive and focused attitude to everything she sets out to do. Job Description: As the Chef, Sarah is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable and that all dietary requirements are met. She is a creative cook, varying her meals to provide variety and according to the location of YCH2, to have as much relevance as possible to the country being visited.
