The guest accommodation is located aft of the main saloon. Midnight can accommodate six guests in three cabins each with an ensuite head with shower. The main cabin has a centerline double berth with adjustable
beds for sitting up and reading or watching TV/DVD. The Starboard cabin has a double berth and the Port cabin two side by side twin beds each with a private head and shower.

Captain

Court our captain is a 500 ton (all oceans) Yacht Master whose other qualifications include STCW, GMDSS, Security Awareness Training and CPR/First Aid He is a life-long sailor and during his career he has been captain, engineer or crew in a large range of sailing vessels ranging from 40 to 197 feet. He has been successful in racing, but most of his sailing has been cruising on the US East Coast, Carribean, and Mediterranean. His log includes numerous ocean passages, including multiple Transatlantic crossings and cruising through the Pacific from Panama to New Zealand with many island stopovers en-route. Amongst his many skills, when not sailing Court is a certified Apple Developer and Applications Designer specialising in Marine IT. Court simply loves to sail and those who know him as an extremely competent and knowledgeable skipper, happy to share his experience with our guests.

Gail Clarke

Chef

Gail our chef is an RYA Yacht Master Coastal with Offshore theory qualifications, STCW, Radio Operators License, Jet Ski License, Food and Hygiene and a Commercially Endorsed Ships Cook Certificate. Gail’s passions are sailing and cooking, having spent 5 years learning to become a professional sailor and logging more than 80,000 nautical miles including 4 Atlantic crossings. Two years ago Gail decided to focus on becoming a professional chef and prides herself in making fantastic food for Midnight’s guests. When possible, her style is to use fresh, seasonal and local ingredients, cooking healthy recipes from across the globe. Her menu choices are comprehensive and versatile, catering for all dietary requirements and available on request. She is happy to adapt and tailor provisioning and catering to meet the specific needs for charter guests of any age. Gail prides herself on being a professional but with an outgoing, friendly personality that that will contribute towards a happy atmosphere among Midnight’s crew and her guests.

Gregory Williams

Mate

Greg comes from Sheffield, England, and sailed dinghies on a local reservoir growing up. Upon leaving school, he started yacht deliveries along the coast of Europe, eventually showing enough promise to be offered a place on a yachtmaster traineeship in the Caribbean. Greg spent nine months learning his trade in the racing charter business, working with clients and competing in events such as the Caribbean 600, Antigua Sailing Week, Fastnet and Cowes Week. After passing his Yachtmaster Offshore in the UK, he sailed back to the Caribbean and spent a season working and racing before signing on for a delivery across the Pacific via Panama. During the two years he spent in the Pacific, Greg spent a season cruising in Fiji, saw the 2021 America's Cup in Auckland, New Zealand and sailed back to Panama aboard a hundred year old topsail schooner, among other things. With roughly 40,000 sailing miles to date, Greg is thoroughly competent and knowledgeable in all matters of sailing and serves as steward in addition to his duties as mate. Sailing is his lifelong passion and he aspires to continue working on the water for the foreseeable future. His other hobbies include celestial navigation, racing and the history of sailing.
