TOMISLAV UKIC
Captain
Tomislav Ukic is a Croatian captain with a long, hands-on seagoing background that began in his hometown of Zadar (born 26 August 1968). He built his foundation as a skipper and sailing instructor, working on small sailing boats across both daily and weekly charter operations—experience that developed strong instincts for guest management, safety, and efficient dayto- day running of a yacht. After several busy seasons, he broadened his operational exposure by working on both sailing and motor boats in the Adriatic charter environment, gaining valuable versatility across different yacht types and charter rhythms. Building on this, Tomislav advanced to larger yachts in the Mediterranean, operating vessels from 20m motor yachts through to 40m sailing yachts, and preparing for more demanding offshore programs. His career includes the experience and preparation required for challenging Atlantic crossings, including a Mediterranean–South America route and return aboard S/Y ELLEN (Perini Navi). This combination of charter intensity, Mediterranean command experience, and oceancrossing competence makes him equally effective on both motor and sailing platforms.
