Growing up in south-east England provided him with ample opportuni es to hone his sailing skills and develop a deep connec on with the mari me world.

Before delving into the yach ng industry, Rhodri pursued various roles that enriched his understanding of sailing and boat cra􀀁smanship. His me spent as a dinghy instructor which allowed him to share his knowledge and deepened his apprecia on for the intricacies of sailing. He also worked as a wooden boatbuilder and gained a profound respect for tradi onal boatbuilding techniques.

Joining the yach ng industry a decade ago marked a significant turning point in Rhodri's career. Immersing himself in the world of yachts, he found his niche working on classic vessels. These meless beau es fueled his passion for sailing and took him to remote and exo c des na ons.

As captain of Black Pearl II, Rhodri brings his experience and exper se to running the yacht. His calm and friendly demeanour make him an invaluable member of the team, fostering a welcoming atmosphere onboard. Whether he's naviga ng or sharing his local knowledge with guests, Rhodri's dedica on to providing an excep onal sailing experience shines through. With his unwavering enthusiasm and deep-seated love for the sea, Rhodri ensures that every voyage aboard Black Pearl II is nothing short of extraordinary.





Hailing from the sun-kissed shores of Mallorca, Lucía's affinity for the sea was ingrained in her from childhood. With a thirst for adventure and a passion for sailing, she embarked on a journey aboard the schooner Atlan c, where she discovered her calling in the galley. Through various roles on the vessel, Lucía honed her culinary skills, fuelling her decision to delve deeper into the art of cooking. Enrolling in a course at the esteemed Ashburton Cookery School, she embraced the ethos of using fresh, local ingredients, and developed a love for cra􀀁ing delectable dishes for her guests.

Lucía's warm and nurturing disposi on ensures your charter on Black Pearl II will offer unparalleled comfort and hospitality. She adeptly navigates the galley, and evokes a sense of home away from home onboard. Shoreside, Lucía's enjoys cycling and ceramics. She will go above and beyond to make sure guests aboard Black Pearl II have a special and memorable experience.
