Etienne Lorant has over ten years' experience in the maritime industry, ranging from tankers/cargo ships and tugboats to superyachts, managing teams of just two or three up to a full crew complement of 25. Etienne has cruised the Eastern and Western Mediterranean extensively as well as the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Black Sea and Mozambique Canal. During his time as a young officer in the French Army, Etienne was trained for diving and helicopter rescue missions. Etienne is an enthusiastic captain who leads his crew with a positive attitude. He takes great pride in providing tailor-made yacht charter experiences for the guests and always work closely with them to make sure that their needs are met. Etienne’s own love and passion for travelling has equipped him with the required experience to make every journey an unforgettable escapade.

Fabrice is a talented chef who’s highly experienced in French Mediterranean, Italian, Asian and Creole cuisine. His career began in the hotel and catering sector before working in villas and aboard charter yachts. Fabrice enjoys adapting his dishes to suit guest dietary needs or preferences and finds that his meals are under continuous evolution with more colours and flavours added with each new itinerary. Fabrice prefers to cook with fresh ingredients and is often found searching the markets of Mediterranean ports for local produce.

Vallerie was born in the Philippines and moved to Italy at the age of 10, where she completed her studies at the School of Culinary Arts & Hotel Management. Vallerie has been working in the hospitality industry since the age of 18, holding positions at hotels, restaurants, and villas before taking to yachts in 2019. The Amalfi Coast has been the destination to delight Vallerie the most, but her enthusiasm for travel and meeting new people means new favourites are a common occurrence.

Sandy attended hospitality school and has worked in both restaurants and private villas. Her favourite place is her home country, the Philippines, but she loves to see new landscapes. Sandy is a great team player and thinks the sun deck is Baccarat’s best feature.

Christopher is always keen to assist his crew mates with various operational tasks and this has helped him extend his skillset and gain a wider knowledge of the marine industry. Christopher possesses all the qualities of a great crew member. He is kind and cordial, and he has a warm personality that puts everyone at ease. Christopher enjoys exploring new locations and learning about different cultures.

Carl has experience as a water and casino clerk but has found his true calling in the world of luxury yacht charter.
